Back in 2001 controversial rap star Eminem had everyone's attention when he played here in Manchester on 8 February.
Before the show even began, there were protests organised by gay rights campaigners and those who objected to his use of violent imagery. There was plenty of debate over whether he would be able to open his show with his trademark Texas Chainsaw Massacre act.
In the end Eminen put on a memorable show, kicking it all off by appearing on stage with a chainsaw (no, it wasn't plugged in...). It was a wild night as he performed his hits Kill You, Criminal and Real Slim Shady. He then moved on to perform two shows in London amongst a whirlwind of further controversy and claims that he popped pills on stage.
It was definitely a show to remember - were you there? Let us know! Share your memories of the show with us on Twitter @McrArena and on Facebook /manchesterarena. #WEAREMANCHESTER
