We are located in the heart of Manchester of city centre, conveniently serviced by all forms of public transport. If you're planning a trip to us, day or night, you'll find it’s the best way to travel to an event.
You can find the arena within the Victoria Station complex with train and Metrolink tram services operating from Greater Manchester and beyond.

Trams
Metrolink services operate frequently throughout the day and many services continue to run after events have finished.
Trams run directly to Victoria Station from Rochdale, Bury, Altrincham, East Didsbury and the Airport. For other destinations, please change at St Peter’s Square.

Train
Many national and local trains serve Manchester Victoria Station.

Manchester Piccadilly is the main train station for the city and is just a short walk, bus or tram journey away from the Arena.

Bus
Shudehill bus station is only a five-minute walk from the Arena and Piccadilly bus station just 10 minutes away.
Manchester's free city centre FreeBus service also links Victoria station with other areas of the centre, including Piccadilly station.

Car
The Arena is in the heart of the city centre (M3 1AR), next to the Inner Ring Road.
At peak times, the roads surrounding the venue are very busy with commuters and delays to journeys are common.
There are also a number of major roadwork schemes taking place around the city centre which will affect traffic, so please ensure you allow sufficient time for your journey.
Parking
Official parking partners CitiPark operate the on-site car park which has a capacity of 958 spaces, including accessible bays. Parking can be pre-booked by following the link to the CitiPark website.
Please Note: Blue Badge Bays cannot be specifically booked and are on a first come first served basis. If there are spaces available, an attendant will direct you on presenting your blue badge. There are 40 Blue Badge parking bays.
On show nights, the car park is manned by an events team who work to ensure that parking at the venue is as simple and easy as possible. They conduct regular patrols of the car park and the car park also has the Park Mark award for safety.
After the concert, Trinity Way will be closed southbound between Great Ducie Street and Cheetham Hill Road for up to one hour. This is to allow concert-goers to safely exit the venue.
However, if you’re parking at the official CitiPark car park, you will still be allowed to exit during this closure but you will have to turn right and follow local diversions.
We advise anyone with mobility issues to arrive as early as possible.
Park and ride
If you’re travelling from further afield, then why not avoid the city centre traffic and drop your car at one of several free Park and Ride sites.
Park and Ride facilities are free to use with a valid Metrolink ticket.
- Travelling from the west of Manchester, use Ladywell, 250 spaces (Pilgrims Way, Salford, M50 1AW) – 25-minute journey to the city centre.
- Travelling from the south of Manchester, use Hollinwood, 202 spaces (Hudson Street, Failsworth, OL9 7LG) – 20-minute journey time to the city centre.
- Travelling from the east of Manchester, use Ashton Moss, 200 spaces (Alexandria Drive, Ashton, OL6 7UB) – 30-minute journey time to the city centre.
- Travelling from the south of Manchester, use Sale Water Park, 316 spaces (Rifle Road, Sale, M33 2LX) – 25-minute journey time to the city centre.
Air
Manchester has a large international airport which provides easy access to the Arena.
The airport is approximately ten miles from the venue and can be reached by train and tram services in less than an hour.
Coach
Manchester provides on-street short stay parking for coaches wanting to drop off or pick up visitors close to a number of city centre attractions and venues.
There are also some medium coach stands where coaches can park for longer periods, as well as designated coach parks that offer longer, overnight and weekend coach parking to visitors who pre-book in advance of their arrival.
