Event Details
Given the ongoing technical issues around the opening of Co-op Live we have taken the difficult decision to move our May shows to the AO Arena, where we have enjoyed many great nights over the years. This is not a decision we have taken lightly, but we wanted to give our fans as much notice as possible.
We’re mindful many of you will already have travel and accommodation plans in place, so we have chosen this option to minimise inconvenience to as many people as possible.
Our June dates in Manchester remain unaffected.
All bookings will be transferred to the AO Arena as below and, except for Wednesday 8th May, we are pleased to say that all the dates remain the same.
Tuesday 7th May now at AO Arena
Wednesday 8th May date change to Thursday 9th May AO Arena
Friday 10th May now at AO Arena
Saturday 11th May now at AO Arena
Sunday 12th May now at AO Arena
Ticket providers will be in touch directly to manage ticket changes and queries.
We thank you for your understanding and we’ll see you all soon!
Will our tickets still be for the same seats that were previously booked?
We completely sympathise with the fans over the past few weeks. Ticketing providers are working incredibly hard to do what they can to allocate appropriate equivalent seats for upcoming shows, and to make sure fans are as well located as they can be, based on original bookings.
As a venue we don’t manage ticketing. Our responsibility is to make sure everyone gets in and has a great, safe time on the night. And of course, we’re really pleased to be able to host these shows at AO Arena and keep them in Manchester for fans over five massive nights. We advise fans to contact their ticket provider with any queries or issues.
How will tickets be allocated to everyone that has already chosen seats?
The transfer process takes into account the position of previous tickets, and the number of tickets in the individual booking. However, each venue is different in their block row and seat configuration, which will undoubtedly mean that some fans won't get exactly what they had for the original show.
For additional information, ticket providers will be in touch directly to manage ticket changes and queries.
We have premium tickets, will they still be available?
Refer to your point of purchase for more information.
Will there be enough room for everyone each night?
We are working where possible to accommodate all guests. For specific ticketing enquiries, your ticket provider will be in touch directly. If you booked directly with Ticketmaster, you will shortly receive communication regarding your new tickets.
Will tram travel be included?
We're pleased to confirm that tram travel is included with tickets for the rescheduled events taking place at the AO Arena.
Tram travel is included with event tickets for four hours before and after the following shows:
- A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie - Saturday 4 May
- Take That - Tuesday 7, Thursday 9, Friday 10, Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 May
The AO Arena is situated in the heart of Manchester and with its prime location as part of the Victoria Station complex is easily accessible by rail, tram and bus.
What if I have booked for Wednesday’s show that has been moved to Thursday and I can no longer make it?
We’re sorry that you can’t join us! Refunds will be available at your point of purchase.
Is there a B Stage?
Yes, there will be a B Stage for all shows.
When will I receive my tickets?
For Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th shows, Ticketmaster are currently carrying out vigorous testing ahead of migration. Ticketholders should receive further information in the next 24 hours.
My tickets have already been transferred, can I still use them?
Customers who received a transferred ticket for the original dates will not have a valid ticket for the AO show/s, as only the original booker can be relocated. If your ticket is now showing as void, please reach out to the person who transferred the original ticket to get it transferred again.
We advise downloading your ticket before heading to the Arena.
I have an accessibility related query, but haven't had a response
We are working hard to arrange the transfer of all accessibility guests, and will be in touch with further information before each show.
If you have any concerns or questions regarding your requirements, please reach out to contactus@ao-arena.com and we will do our best to get back to you as soon as possible.
