The LTA has today confirmed the Lexus GB Davis Cup team set to complete in Group D of the Davis Cup Finals Group Stage in Manchester in September. Jack Draper, Cam Norrie, Dan Evans, Joe Salisbury and Neal Skupski have been selected by captain Leon Smith to take on Argentina, Canada and Finland from 10-15 September at the AO Arena, with the top two teams qualifying for the Final 8 in Malaga.
2023 saw a triumphant return of the Davis Cup to Manchester for the first time since 1994, with Cam Norrie, Jack Draper, Andy Murray, Dan Evans and Neal Skupski securing the team’s place in the quarter-finals. Evans and Skupski saved four match points in the winner-takes-all, final match of the week against France in front of a record British crowd of 13,000 fans.
Captain Leon Smith said: “The support in Manchester last year was incredible – the crowds turned out in record numbers and carried us over the line in a tight and dramatic final day. We’ve got a really strong team once again and I’m sure it’s going to be another special week in Manchester in September.”
This year’s event begins on Tuesday 10th September, with the Lexus GB Davis Cup team beginning their campaign on Wednesday 11th against last year’s semi-finalists Finland.
Ticket prices start at £5 for children and £10 for adults with Great Britain in action on Wednesday 11th, Friday 13th and Sunday 15th September.
