Accessibility
We pride ourselves on being accessible to everyone. All our accessible tickets are available to be purchased online via AXS at AO Arena tickets and event calendar | Manchester, United Kingdom | AXS.com. When booking accessible tickets, please follow the below guide:
- When you are on the page of the event that you wish to attend, select ‘Wheelchair Tickets’ or ‘Ambulant Accessible tickets’.
- We have dedicated access platform seating areas in Blocks, 105, 108, 109 as seen on the venue map. “AP” means accessible platform (e.g. AP108) and is level access and wheelchair accessible. “CP” means camera platform (e.g. CP113) and is also level access and wheelchair accessible. The only difference being is the camera platform is designed for fewer guests than the accessible platform. These areas are ideal for wheelchair users or guests who require step free access, or additional space.
- Ambulant tickets are standard seats with a limited number of steps. Row Y requires 3 steps down with a handrail and Row X requires 10 steps down with a handrail.
- Choose the seat of your choice and then add the FREE personal assistant to the booking and click on select.
- Once selected, click 'Checkout' and continue to follow the steps to make payment and secure your tickets.
If your access requirements are not met by the online booking system, please call 0161 987 5297 and the AXS team will help to book your tickets.
Please note that our Upper Tier seating is very steep and is not advised for the elderly, infirm or those with an aversion to heights. If any of these apply, please do not purchase seats in the Upper Tier as relocation on the night is not possible.

Please be careful!
Please be aware that you must buy your tickets from authorised ticketing partners otherwise you run the risk of being refused entry to the venue or not getting any refund if the event is cancelled or postponed.
Although the practice of 'secondary ticket selling' (otherwise known as 'touting') is not illegal it is strictly against the Terms & Conditions of the Box Office. Condition 7 states "If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, Ticketmaster or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become void and the holder may be refused entry or ejected from the venue".
Any customer who purchases tickets from these sources automatically loses their rights as a consumer and would be unable to obtain a refund from the venue should the event be cancelled or postponed or should their ticket be voided.
The largest, and probably most worrying, growth in 'secondary ticketing' is through internet auction sites: as with the apparently legitimate websites that advertise 'premium' tickets for sale, and the more obvious 'touts' selling outside the venue, there are no guarantees that the tickets purchased from these sites will guarantee the ticket holder entry into the venue.
At a number of events (particularly the high profile concerts) it is estimated that up to 30% of transactions conducted on these 'secondary ticketing' sites are either fraudulent or result in the ticket holder being refused entry into the venue.
Customers should ONLY purchase tickets from legitimately authorised outlets if they wish to ensure that they get in to see their favourite artist.
We do not accept letters of authority for ticket collections, as this system can be abused by secondary ticket markets. If you have any queries about your booking, please contact your point of purchase directly.
There are a number of official websites which detail guidelines for purchasing tickets, follow the links below for more info:
www.tradingstandards.uk/consumers/support-advice
If you choose not to use the ticket buying options below and are unsure of the legitimacy of a ticket outlet, we suggest you check the official artist or promoter website.
And don't forget, if you are buying tickets for anyone 14 years or under we advise you purchase a seated ticket in the Tiers. Please be aware that during concerts people may stand up.
Please visit our Terms & Conditions page for further information.
